After much debate and discussion 6JW have decided to have two heroes this term. The first half term we are having a 'real life' hero - someone who has changed things for other. Next half term we will have a 'celebrity' hero - someone who is good at what they do and has lots of fans.
Have you any suggestions for this half terms' hero ?
We have already metioned Mandella, Gandhi and Martin Luther King. Can you think of any more? Add suggestions as comments to this post. We will then vote on which one to have.

I think florence nightingale
and the celebraty as usan bolt
I think that a good hero would be steve Irwin as he was always trying to risk his life for others to entertain them. May not of done something as a great acheivment as Mandella or ghandi, but he still deserves to be called A hero
Nelsen Mandella is a good one and for the celebrity maybe Michael Jackson or Frank Lampard.
I think for 'real life' hero..maybe Florence Nightingale or Terri Fox as the 'celebrity hero I think Micheal Jackson (maybe) or Audrey Hepburn bcoz zhe worked at UNICEF helping Children in need after her World War 2 experience as a child.
