My Summer by Rachel

My summer was really fun. My school got summer holidays on the 30th of June. Every girl in the class was crying because I was moving to Dubai.

Two weeks after we got our summer holidays I went to Spain on a two week holiday with my cousin and my family. We had lots of fun. The beach was right across the road from our apartment block. When we got back to Ireland it was pouring rain!!!!!!!!!! For the rest of the month we had a very wet holiday in Ireland.

We arrived in Dubai on the 26th of August. I was soooooo tierd because I didn't sleep on the plain. My dad was waiting at the airport for us.It was a 40 minute drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. When we arrived at our new house I just went straight to my bedroom and had a little rest on my bed. That rest was only about 5 minutes. I was sooooooo excited. For the rest of the day we were just looking in furniture shops. We spent lots of time in furniture shops.

On the 6th of September we started school at Kings Dubai. I really like the school and I think my class is very friendly.
