Lucy's holiday report

On the 8th August we went to uncle Denis, William (5) & Henry's (3) huge house and I had great fun!

They have a lovely Victorian country house in Suffolk with a gigantic paddock at the side. In the paddock there is a climbing frame with swings and a big trampoline which we had fun bouncing on! There is another paddock for the dogs, Archie & Ellie, Golden retriever and Labrador, and a bit fenced of for the chickens and ducks.

Soon after we arrived William took me off to go and collect the eggs. We collected 14 eggs and then William chased the chickens, which was quite funny. They have 8 chickens and 2 white ducks. Then we went in and had a yummy lunch as Grandma and uncle Steve arrived.
After lunch William, Henry, Chloe and I played in the paddling pool and with the water pistols. Dad dunked my head in the freezing pool and dropped me in! So me and Henry chased him with the water pistols. After that when we where dry, we went into the paddock and uncle Denis brought out his bright blue quad bike! Me and William got the two go carts from the shed and tide them one behind the other on to the quad bike! Henry and Chloe got on the quad bike behind uncle Denis and William and I got on the go carts, with William nearest the quad bike. then we were off, cruising through the long grass, round the climbing frame and through a pile of branches! Of course ALL the branches got stuck underneath my go cart and we had to stop to get the branches out! But it was really fun!!

I can't wait to go back next summer!!
