I know that Adrian Hayes has been to all 3 poles and has lately returned from hiking from one side of Greenland to the other side of Greenland.

I think the fact that he is brave enough to climb everest and lots of other amazing experiences makes him a hero.

I dont know many explorers but I do know two and thier names are Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. These people are famous explores because on the 29th May, 1953 these two people were the first ever people to climb Mount Everest.

Adrian Hayes is an explorer from Britain but lives in Dubai with his wife and two children. Before he became an explorer, he was in the British army.

He has been to the 3 summits of the earth which only 15 people have ever done and he is in the Guinness Book of Records for doing them in the fastest time.

The only explorer I know of is Sir Francis Drake, who was an english sea captain who was second in command of the English fleet against the Spanish Armarda.

Recently, Adrian has been on a expedition, walking from one side of Greenland to the other.

Adrian is also an executive coach and a motivational speaker.

I admire Adrian Hayes because he has a lot of courage and never gives up.

I have learnt from Adrian that you should never give up and to believe in your dreams. Also if you really set your mind on doing something and you have enough determination, it is amazing what you can achieve.

1. He is in the guinness book of records 2009 for the fastest time to encounter the 3 poles.

2. How he can spend weeks even months in intense weather conditions pulling something that is over 100 kg and he doesn't give up.

3. Simon and Joe's, 'touching the Void' adventure climbing up 20,000 ft up one of the Alps.

4. His courage and his attitude towards his expeditions that he achieves.

5. After seeing Touching the Void i think that the hardest challenge would be to climb everest. Over 58,000 ft !

6. Bravery, Strength and pride.

7. To never give up and if you think something will never happen like not many people get the oppurtunities to go to the 3 poles try, try and try again and you might be successful.

Adrian Hayes has climbed mount Everest, walked across South the and North Pole and recently walked all the way across Greenland.

I think Adrian Hayes is a hero because he never ever gives up, even in the worst possible situations. He also has got great courage because he is prepared to leave he family for long periods of time.

I think Adrian Hayes biggest achevment is climbing Mount Everest because it is a dangourus mointin and not many people make it to the top alive.

From Adrian Hayes I can learn not to give up and always try your best.

Other known explorers are Sir Fransis Drake, Christopher Columbus, Sir Walter Rayleigh and Neil Armstrong.

I like Adrian Hayes because he shows that no matter how big the challenge is you should always give your best and then you will succseed.

I admire Adrians' courage and streanth.

1. I know that he has climbed to the three poles and trekked across greenland.
2. He is brave, strong, powerful and never gives up.
3. Touching the Voids Simon and Joe. (Mrs Kenny?!) Edmund Hillary.
4. Adrian Hayes has so,e great qualities like never giving up and being brave. These are my favourite qualities about him.
5. Probably the two poles/mount everest. Because it must be very hard to get to the Northe or South pole.
6. I admire his courage, strangth and the way he gives it his 'all' and then always succeeds.
7. You can learn from him: COURAGE/BRAVERY, 'NEVER GIVES UP', PRIDE.

Adrian Hayes Review.

Today, Adrian Hayes came in and gave us a talk in KS2 assembly and then came over to the year 6's and did a question and answer session with us.

The most interesting fact I found out about in assembly I would say was that if everybody in the world had a lifestyle of an average person in Dubai then we would need 7 worlds! That fact has got me motivated to try and have a short shower in the morning and not have my a.c. on 20/21c all day!

I could never have stood -60c in the North Pole, not a chance of finding me there, and I don't know why he only had 3 pairs of gloves on, I would of had 300! I have no idea why he was taking his top off at 10c. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Adrian has inspired me to become really fit, never give up on a goal, and be more determined to complete a task.
